“ My first taste of Louisiana Creole food, and it was fantastic. I had the vege burger and chips - crumbed eggplant pattie and sauces were so tasty and the price was reasonable too. For filling comfort food, this is a good place to go and it's close to everything over at Southbank as well (including decent toilets which are literally on the other side opposite). Relaxed atmosphere with lots of greenery also projects a chill vibe. ”
“ in and outside dining. The food was good, tastey but nothing to get excited about. , cocktails were in VERY SMALL glasses and still not even filled. Definately not worth the$20 each that was charged. Unfortunately I think we caught our server on a bad night. He really gave the impression that he didn't want to be there , which put a bit of a downer on the dinner. It was a shame as this place had been reccomended to us as a place we must try. toilets available across the laneway . limited street parking but close to southbank parkland and heaps of taxis and ubers available. ”
“ Atmosphere and Service was wonderful, beautiful restaurant. Only complaint is the roast vegetables could have been better and they forgot the potatoes but the pulled pork burger was spectacular. ”
“ Amazing food, still managed to prepare amazing meals even though they were meant to be closed! Everything was well seasoned and fresh, crispy and spiced well! Come here for their nachos absolutely amazing and good portions!! The staff were so nice and eager to show their knowledge and suggestions for the menu!! ”
“ Beautiful decor and staff were friendly and helpful. 2 of my stars were for the prior points. One star on the actual food, it left alot to be desired. The deluxe burger consisted of a bun, 2 lumps of meat, 1 piece of cheese and the smallest scrap of lettuce known to man (see photos for reference). The serve of fries equated to a small McDonald's amount but cost $5.50 extra. Brisket was well cooled by the frigid mash underneath. Nachos were soggy.. Chicken n Waffles were tasty, but can I suggest using smaller plates, it will help it look like you are serving decent portions. Probably wouldn't recommend this place to friends. ”
“ Very surprised at how fantastic the food is and really reasonable pricing, meals were hot, fresh and plenty full. Wide variety for dietary considerations and expansive cocktail and liquor menu. Staff are attentive, helpful and good customer service. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly with a variety of sized tables and fresh plants everywhere ”
